Even with an injured hoof, Neptune epitomises grass based genetics and keeps his condition even under duress.  We're letting him have all the time he needs to fully heal and be ready for joining season towards the back end of this year.
Have you ever seen those beautiful oil paintings of bowls of fruit?  I'm starting to appreciate them more now; home grown apples are a heart warming sight. ❤
Don't you just hate it when that job you've been putting off comes back to bite you on the butt? 😄
Ranger is our next generation bull we are keeping for the herd.  At only 5 months here you can  see his muscle and rump profile coming along nicely with a big gut to process all that grass.
It's been a pretty average year for my tomatoes so far,  but there is some progress here.  Fingers crossed we get enough to make tomato sauce.
